Lessons around Didsbury use real local roads including School Lane, Parrs Wood Lane and Barlow Moor Road, so by the time you're ready for your test you've already driven the streets you'll use every day after passing. Fletcher Moss Botanical Garden, 21 acres on the bank of the Mersey, was gifted to the city by Alderman Fletcher Moss back in 1917 and remains a quiet favourite among local learners for early parking practice.

We also plan around school-run traffic near Didsbury CE Primary School and Parrs Wood High School (one of the UK's largest secondaries), using quieter spots like Didsbury Park for early manoeuvre practice before stepping up to busier sections of School Lane.

Test centre: most M20 learners test at West Didsbury Driving Test Centre; mock tests are planned around the routes examiners actually use from there.
