Why Learn Automatic in SK3?
You’ll practise lane choice, timing, and indicators at the junctions that matter locally. We make complex roundabouts manageable with repeatable approaches you can reuse anywhere in the city.
We combine practical lessons with theory support — hazard perception tips, question packs, and mock sessions that reflect DVSA standards. The blend saves time and reduces anxiety.
Local Routes & Test Centre Preparation
Progress tracking keeps you motivated. After each drive, you’ll receive two or three focused actions for the next session so you nail habits without being overwhelmed. In SK3, you’ll rehearse along Edgeley, King Street West, Greek Street and nearby spurs, building route familiarity before mock tests at Bredbury, Cheetham Hill, West Didsbury. Lessons emphasise how to build confidence at multi-lane roundabouts and practice hazard anticipation on busy corridors with consistent instructor cues.

Edgeley & Shaw Heath Local Area Guide
Lessons around Edgeley and Shaw Heath use real local roads including Shaw Heath, Castle Street and Edgeley Road, so by the time you're ready for your test you've already driven the streets you'll use every day after passing. Edgeley Park, home of Stockport County FC since 1902, sits right in the middle of the area and is a familiar landmark we use for giving directions on lessons.
We also plan around school-run traffic near Stockport Academy and Alexandra Park Primary School, using quieter spots like Woodbank Memorial Park for early manoeuvre practice before stepping up to busier sections of Shaw Heath.
Test centre: most SK3 learners test at Sale Driving Test Centre (or Stockport pupils sometimes use Cheadle Hulme routes); mock tests are planned around the routes examiners actually use from there.
“We used Woodbank Memorial Park for early manoeuvre practice before moving onto busier roads — built my confidence step by step.” – Yusuf, SK3
