Get test-ready in weeks rather than months. Our intensive driving courses pack 10–40 hours of structured DVSA tuition into 1–5 weeks of daily lessons across Manchester.
Every learner is different. We tailor your intensive course to your current ability, schedule, and target test date. All courses include DVSA-syllabus coverage and test-route practice.
Every intensive course begins with an initial assessment lesson. We evaluate your current skill level, discuss your availability, and build a day-by-day lesson plan that fits around your commitments. If you already hold a provisional licence and have some experience, we skip ahead to the areas that need work.
Unlike weekly lessons where skills can fade between sessions, daily lessons build on each other rapidly. You cover cockpit drill and basic controls on day one, progress to junctions and roundabouts by mid-week, and move onto independent driving and manoeuvres within the first seven days. The momentum means muscle memory develops faster and confidence grows exponentially.
In the final phase of every intensive course, we dedicate multiple sessions exclusively to the routes used by your nearest DVSA test centre. For West Didsbury students, that means Wilmslow Road, Palatine Road, and the Barlow Moor Road corridor. For Sale and Hyde centres, we practise the specific junctions and roundabouts examiners use. You walk into the test knowing every road.
Most intensive learners are test-ready within 2–4 weeks. We can arrange a fast-track DVSA test booking through cancellation slots to get you on the road sooner.
Every DriveSQ student gets free access to our Student Portal with 700+ DVSA theory questions, 14 mock tests, hazard perception training, and progress tracking.
Our intensive courses get Manchester learners test-ready in a fraction of the time. WhatsApp us to discuss your schedule and build a personalised plan.
Lessons around Prestwich use real local roads including Rectory Lane, Bury Old Road and Bury New Road, so by the time you're ready for your test you've already driven the streets you'll use every day after passing. Prestwich is home to Heaton Park, which at over 600 acres is the largest municipal park in Greater Manchester and one of the largest in Europe, having been sold to Manchester Corporation by the Earl of Wilton in 1902.
We also plan around school-run traffic near St Luke's CE Primary School and St Bernadette's RC Primary School, using quieter spots like Prestwich Clough for early manoeuvre practice before stepping up to busier sections of Rectory Lane.
Test centre: most learners around Prestwich test at Cheetham Hill Driving Test Centre, Alderglen Road, Cheetham, Manchester M8 0AL; mock tests are planned around the routes examiners actually use from there.
“The mock test routes near Cheetham Hill Driving Test Centre, Alderglen Road, Cheetham, Manchester M8 0AL were spot on. Felt like I'd already done my test by the time the real one came round.” – Ellie, Prestwich
