The 17th Birthday Rule

In the UK, you can start professional driving lessons on public roads from the day you turn 17 years old. You must hold a valid provisional driving licence before your very first lesson. Since provisional licences can take up to 3 weeks to arrive, we recommend applying well in advance.

Preparing Before You Turn 17

Learning to Drive as a Mature Learner

There is absolutely no upper age limit for learning to drive. DriveSQ teaches learners of every age across Manchester. The Exception: Disability-Related Driving
