Transport & Parking

Hadfield station is the terminus of the Northern line from Manchester Piccadilly via Glossop. Bus services are infrequent along the valley, making a car essential for many residents.

Parking is generally easy in the villages with free roadside parking. The reservoir car parks can fill up at weekends with walkers, particularly in summer months.
