This Privacy Policy explains how DriveSQ ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the DriveSQ Instructor Portal app and website.

1. Who We Are

DriveSQ is a DVSA-approved driving school based in Greater Manchester, UK. The Instructor Portal is a private tool for use by DriveSQ driving instructors only.

2. Information We Collect

When you use the Instructor Portal, we may collect:

• Your name and email address (used to create and manage your instructor account)
• Login credentials (password stored securely, never in plain text)
• Lesson booking and pupil data you enter into the portal
• Device information for push notifications (if you opt in)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide access to the Instructor Portal
• Manage lesson bookings and pupil records
• Send push notifications about bookings and updates (only if you opt in)
• Communicate with you about your role at DriveSQ

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, your device token is stored to deliver notifications to you. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you have an active instructor account with DriveSQ. If your account is closed, your data will be deleted within 30 days upon request.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
